How It WORKS

How It Works

BCP Capital licenses systematic trading algorithms that clients deploy in brokerage accounts they control. Our model emphasizes transparency, client autonomy, and institutional-grade technology without pooled funds or discretionary management.

Process at a Glance

  1. Inquiry
Initial discussion to understand objectives and system fit
  2. Licensing
Technology access provided under a licensing agreement
  3. Deployment
Algorithms deployed in the client’s own brokerage account
  4. Ongoing Use
Client monitors performance and controls capital allocation

Step 1 – Initial Engagement

Prospective clients begin with an introductory discussion to understand the structure, scope, and operational requirements of BCP Capital’s algorithmic systems.

These discussions focus on system design, risk characteristics, deployment considerations, and client responsibilities. No investment advice or capital allocation guidance is provided.

Step 2 – Technology Licensing

lients access BCP Capital’s algorithms through a technology licensing arrangement. This agreement governs usage rights, permitted deployment, fee structure, and operational boundaries.

The licensed algorithms are provided as software systems, not managed investment products. BCP Capital does not accept client funds, pool capital, or exercise discretionary trading authority.

Step 3 – Client-Controlled Deployment

Licensed algorithms are deployed directly within brokerage accounts controlled by the client. All trading activity occurs in the client’s own account with their chosen broker. Clients retain full authority over:

  • Capital allocation

  • Risk tolerance settings

  • Activation and deactivation of systems

  • Ongoing monitoring

BCP Capital does not place trades, adjust positions, or override system behavior once deployed.

Step 4 – Fees & Alignment

BCP Capital charges a technology licensing fee and a performance-based participation fee, subject to a high-water mark.

Fees are applied only to results generated by the licensed algorithms within the client’s account. This structure aligns incentives while preserving client control and transparency.

(Full details are provided on the Fees & Terms page.)

Ongoing Support & Updates

BCP Capital maintains and evolves its technology over time. Clients may receive software updates, refinements, or enhancements consistent with the licensed systems.

Clients remain responsible for:

  • Monitoring live performance

  • Assessing suitability for their objectives

  • Managing broker relationships

  • Complying with applicable laws and regulations

Who This Is Designed For

BCP Capital’s model is designed for experienced market participants who value transparency, systematic discipline, and direct control over capital. This includes:

  • Proprietary traders

  • Family offices

  • Sophisticated individual traders

  • Institutions evaluating systematic execution technology
